I have strong family ties to the Paso Robles area dating back to the early 1900s.  I went to school out of the area,  but always felt deeply entrenched here in many ways.  I worked with my parents on our family ranch in Paso Robles and Parkfield,  I can't think of another area which deserves such careful tending and monitoring for positive growth.  I never want Paso to loose its roots as it moved into this 21 Century.  It's history includes Hollywood of the Golden Age and naturally draws creative and energetic residents who appreciate a wide array of things to do.

Today, I live on a ranch with cattle, head-pruned, dry-farmed grapes, forage mix and conservation land.  Seeing the stars at night is a luxury we must never take for granted.  I went away to school and was involved in drama,  the yearbook and music.  I went to Cal-State Hayward, studied Speech and Drama.  I graduated from San Jose State in Speech Therapy and Audiology with a double major in Psychology.  I worked as a nurse's aide at Stanford and at the old Paso Robles Hospital up on the hill.  I have volunteered for many organizations such as Family Services,  spent 12 years in Co-op Nursery schools and was a school classroom volunteer.

I believe that all people benefit from visual and performing arts. There are so many variation of each that there is something for everyone at every age.
