Dorothy (Dot) Lefebvre attended New England School of Art 1948-1951, studying advertising art. Involved with Pioneer Players after moving to Paso Robles 1963. Helped with painting sets, posters and graduated to "Spotlight Person". After 35 years of spotlight experience, she volunteers her services to any organization needing a spotlight operator. Having grown up in Boston, she was exposed to ballet, theatre, art museums and her true love, summer concerts on the Charles River, conducted by Arthur Fiedler.
Dorothy owns and operates the 1890 House, the original old hospital building in Paso Robles, and does custom framing for local artists and art lovers and is considered an ephemera expert. She firmly supports theatre in the north county, for she feels it is so important to every performing group and wishes that our young generation will benefit from exposure to the arts, as she did.
